Where is Cala Galdana?
Located on the south coast of Menorca, just 7 km from the town of Ferreries, Cala Galdana is located between two rocky promontories covered with vegetation. This semicircular shaped cove is protected from the wind and bathed by turquoise and shallow waters, which makes it a safe option for the little ones.
The mouth of the Algendar ravine adds a unique touch to the landscape and is home to numerous species of birds and native fauna.
How to get to Cala Galdana
🚗 By car
From Mahón or Ciutadella, take the main road Me-1 to Ferreries. Once there, follow the signs to Cala Galdana; in 10 minutes you will reach the beach.
There is free parking nearby, although in summer it is advisable to arrive early to find a parking space.

🚌 By bus
- From Mahón: line 51 (passes through Alaior, Es Mercadal and Ferreries).
- From Ciutadella: line 52 (also stops in Ferreries)
Both lines operate from June to October. Check the updated schedules according to the season.
