Cala Macarella
Cala Macarella is, without a doubt, one of Menorca's most famous beaches. Located on the island's south coast, its spectacular cliffs, turquoise waters, and white sand make it a must-see. Although it's very popular and often crowded in summer, its natural beauty continues to surprise even those who have visited before.

How to get there
During the summer months, car access is restricted. To get there, it's best to take a bus from Ciutadella (line 68) to the designated parking lot, and from there walk about 15 minutes to the cove. You can also reach it on foot from Cala Galdana, along a beautiful coastal route that takes about 30 minutes.

Useful tips
- Arrive very early if you go during peak season to avoid crowds.
- Wear comfortable shoes if you decide to walk from Cala Galdana.
- There aren't many services, but there is a small beach bar near the beach.
- Perfect for taking photos, swimming and enjoying the scenery.

Why visit it?
Because it's the symbol of Menorca's pristine coves. Its deep blue water, nearby caves, and the contrast with the cliffs make Macarella one of the most photogenic beaches in the Mediterranean.
